Come volunteer teach with us in Vietnam during our 12-week Volunteer and Teach Program in the beautiful city of Da Nang, Vietnam.
Our non-profit initiative grants you the opportunity to develop in-demand skills as a foreign language educator while you teach English to children and young adults in a safe and structured classroom environment.
Trellis’ small class sizes will allow you to better transition into a classroom environment and enhance your student’s learning potential by ensuring more one-on-one time with instructors and more opportunity for addressing a student’s individual needs.
If you would like to continue your journey overseas upon completion of our program, Trellis provides assistance in securing a position teaching English as a foreign language through our network of partners in Japan or Vietnam.
Program Details
Our program offers:
Logistical support before, during, and after your arrival in Vietnam
Structured and robust training methods to prepare you for your time as an English Language Teacher (foreign language pedagogy and methodology, lesson planning, classroom management, creating classroom games and activities, and more)
Small class sizes of between 6 and 8 students

Program Details
Location: Da Nang, Vietnam
Class Size: 6-8 students
Student Ages: 5 – 25 years old
Your Role: Volunteer English Teacher
Teaching Hours: Approximately 3-4 hours per day
Duration: 12 Weeks
2 weeks of orientation/training
10 weeks of in-classroom teaching
Volunteer Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be currently enrolled in, or have graduated from, an accredited university degree program
Must consent to a criminal background check
Must be in good mental and physical health, and comfortable and confident working in an abroad location
Program Cost
The total cost of Trellis’ 3-month English Teaching Volunteer Program is $2,000 USD. A $200 refundable deposit is required upon registration. Unlike many other volunteer programs, Trellis’ non-profit status means that 100% of your program fees go directly towards maintaining and expanding our non-profit educational initiatives.
